ESCALATE project partner ELECTRA was recently featured in ‘The Times’, focusing on the ‘road ahead for electrifying HGVs’. The Yorkshire-based commercial vehicle producers, which launched its first electric HGV in the UK in 2018, is benefitting its participation in the ESCALATE project, as the programme supports the research and development of long-haul trucks. Thus, the latter is a significant key aspect in decarbonising the European road freight industry.
