11th-13th of February

Going on its 8th edition, the RTR Conference is a unique entry point into the achievement of EU-funded projects in road transport.

Once again this year, participants will learn about Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe projects’ results and expected impacts, and what the next research steps are in essential areas for road transport: Green Vehicles, Urban Mobility, Logistics, Intelligent Transport Systems, Safety, Automated Road Transport.

The European Commission, together with the European Partnership on Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) and the FAME project, are pleased to announce the 5th European Conference on Connected and Automated Driving (EUCAD 2025), which will take place in Ispra, Italy, on 13 to 15 May 2025.

EUCAD 2025 is the only event gathering political leaders from the European Commission and Member States with European and international high-level representatives of industry, academia and road authorities to discuss challenges, needs and synergies towards deployment of CCAM solutions, in Europe and beyond. The NextETRUCK project, as part of the AEVETO cluster of zero-emission freight projects, invites you to join our hybrid mid-term conference which will take place on 21 February at U-Residence (VUB Campus) in Brussels, Belgium. ESCALATE, together with the other AEVETO cluster projects, will present its plans for the development of zero-emission freight trucks and the related pilot testing as part of a panel in the second part of the meeting. EUROPEAN MOBILITY WEEK is the European Commission’s flagship awareness-raising campaign on sustainable urban mobility. It encourages behavioral change in favor of active mobility, public transport and other clean, intelligent transport solutions. The main event takes place from 16-22 September 2024 each year, culminating in the popular Car-Free Day.

Local authorities are encouraged to use the main week to try out innovative planning measures, promote new infrastructure and technologies, measure air quality, and get feedback from the public.

With more towns and cities joining every year, and with its huge media appeal, the campaign is widely recognized as a driving force towards sustainable urban mobility in Europe and beyond.

This event marks the 10th anniversary of ALICE and its Clusters, bringing together key stakeholders, policymakers, industry leaders, and innovators to tackle the most pressing challenges and opportunities in the logistics sector across Europe and beyond.

The 4th edition of the Battery Innovation Days (BID) is finally confirmed.

Key European Research & Innovation initiatives (Batteries EuropeBattery 2030+ and the Batteries European Partnership Association, in partnership with the Batteries 1st and 2nd IPCEIs are organizing the BID in Barcelona and digitally on 26 – 27 November 2024!
