ESCALATE work plan is structured in 8 interlinked WPs that will run for a total duration of 42 months. The Project Management Body defined the work breakdown structure as a deliverable oriented hierarchical decomposition of the work to be executed by the project partners.
WP1: refers to Project Management and coordination activities, concerning all the administrative, scientific, technical, financial, and legal aspects of the project. WP1 includes the change management and quality plan (T1.1) and the data management plan (T1.4).
WP2: aims to present a baseline assessment to identify needs, re-elicitation of requirements, key metrics and details of different 5 pilots considering the gaps, limitations, barriers, conflicts within the zero-emission and mix fleets and operations context.
WP3: deals with the development of the standardized well-designed modular powertrain components with a scalability approach in mind for HW, SW and the electrical and mechanical interfaces to support a fit for purpose design and therefore production cost and TCO reduction.
WP4: focuses on improving and delivering the refueling and grid-friendly charging solutions and protocols considering the infrastructural and end user needs.
WP5: is the WP for the design and development of AI-based fleet management, PDM and explainable models and their consolidation over the digital twin.
WP6: follows a TGM based evaluation methodology and implements validation scenarios to assess the performance based on the pre-defined KPIs. Pilots will be built-up and demonstrated making use of concepts and innovations developed in WP3-5.
WP7: is planned for the LCA, TCO, VECTO tools-based assessments (for energy and emission estimations), business models, standardization activities, economies of scale analyses together with KPI assessments and wider impact analysis concerning the KIPs and KSOs.
WP8: deals with the dissemination, communication and exploitation plans of the project results.
